Asheville Wedding Photographer | The Venue | Christina and Charlie

Christina and Charlie had known each other for years…as friends. They’d never really thought about their relationship in any other way. Then there was the night. When it started out, it was pretty normal. A bar. A concert. The company of friends. But before they knew it, Christina and Charlie were the last two left at the party. They found themselves talking until the wee hours…and something clicked. Christina seized the moment. She leaned over and planted a big kiss on Charlie! (Oh, how I love a girl who knows what she wants and goes for it!!!)

When Christina walked down the aisle, the emotion on her face said so much more than words could express. And when she emerged in a sassy, short dress for the reception, I loved it! The dance floor was pumping, with lots of fun antics from the couples’ friends. It was truly a pleasure to see Charlie and Christina have such a blast on their day. And I have to mention that they are pet parents, too! Their family of four includes a lab mix named Olive and a Siamese cat mix named Gunther. So sweet!

Their wedding took place at The Venue in downtown Asheville. This is such a unique location! It has two different sections, making it very versatile for ceremonies and receptions. And its distinctive European cottage feel is relaxed yet elegant, with a vintage flair. It was a pleasure to work with Amanda Hartzell with The Planning!

Below is a sneak peek of their day!!!
