Erin and Justin met each other while out on a limb…the blind date limb, to be exact! A mutual friend set them up, and the rest has been sweet history. 🙂 These two are the definition of fun-loving and laid back! They love antiquing, and tackling refinishing projects together, and they adore their sweet yellow Labrador Honey. It was such a pleasure to photograph their farm wedding in North Carolina earlier this month!
Erin and Justin’s ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Church in Goldsboro, with a tented reception at the groom’s family farm.
The band Finesse was wonderful and fun! Erin was glowing and gracious. She showered her guests with attention and even thanked all of her vendors with a big hug at the end of the day. It’s truly a delight to work for clients like her!
Enjoy these photos of Erin and Justin’s celebration.
It was a windy day (extremely windy!), and early on the question was raised whether or not to move the reception to a nearby ballroom. But the father of the groom flatly refused: “We are not moving it, we are having the reception at the farm!” His mind was definitely made up!! A few minutes later, six big trucks from his company rumbled onto the farm and parked around the side of the tent to block the wind (see photo below)! The set-up kept going, and all of the beautiful orchid and peony arrangements were brought in safely. Goes to show that where there’s a will there’s a way…and having a fleet of big trucks on hand can be, well…handy!
