A few days ago I went past this amazing field and all I could think about was how beautiful a bride and groom would look with all these fall colors!!! I went home and started thinking about how I could pull this off…I didn’t have a dress, I didn’t have much time because all the leaves were falling already…and I didn’t have a couple! 🙂 After asking myself ten thousand times why I sold my wedding dress, I went on Ebay… and I found this beautiful wedding dress and the auction would end in 30min! I’ve lost tons of auctions on Ebay…but I couldn’t loose this one!!! So, I asked Google (my dear friend!) how to win on Ebay. After reading a few tips I was ready! It was Saturday night, I was siting on the couch with the laptop and waiting and waiting…and of course keeping my husband updated how many minutes left to the end of the auction. Ten seconds to go I bid and I won the dress!!!!!! Yupi! Then, I heard my husband saying….”the world is defenseless when my wife wants something!” hahahahaha!

I knew Ashley and Kyle didn’t have wedding pictures and I got so happy when they accepted my invitation and  jumped right in on this personal project! I got the dress 3 days before the session and it fit Ashley perfectly! 🙂

Thanks Ashley and Kyle so much! You guys are awesome! I hope with my heart you like your images! Lyn, thank you for doing Ashley’s hair and makeup! She was stunning! 🙂

Here are some images of the day! 🙂

Five years ago they were both convinced by their friends to go to this birthday party and they had no idea their lives would change forever after that day! That’s how Sara and Ryan met! Four months into their relationship Ryan got deployed for a 15 month tour. Oh yes, those long Army deployments a few years ago.  And when it is meant to be, it is meant to be! And the distance only makes the love grows stronger. ♥

They have been married for 3 years and they are expecting their first baby, a boy! Sara & Ryan are those kind of couples that an exchange of looks is enough for them to start giggling! 🙂 And I love it!

Sara contacted me in July to book the photo session and since they live about an hour away, she asked me to suggest a place around here. A few days before the session Ryan emailed me saying that maybe they would like to do a newborn session instead of the couple’s maternity. My heart broke…hehehehehehe! I adore to photograph couples and I had this good feeling about them…I don’t know…we never talked on the phone, we only exchanged a few emails…but I had this feeling and I decided to follow my intuition! So, I drove 40 min to check out this amazing place where the Deutsche Weinstrasse is and I suggested the place to them  in a hope they would change their minds. They were completely sold out! YUPI!!! And I did a happy dance! 🙂

Here are some images of the day!!! Thank you Sara and Ryan, you guys are such a nice couple! I had an amazing time! I hope you like your images! 🙂

David met a friend that he hasn’t seen in 10 years at the grocery store. This friend asked for his help in this event going on during the weekend. When he got there, this beautiful German girl went to talk to him, but he was not very interested in making new friends…how come?!?! The day after he totally regretted and went back there to see if he could find her. And there she was!!!! Catalina gave him a hard time in the beginning but it was meant to be! ♥♥♥

Pretty soon he is getting deployed for the second time during their relationship, but I think when you deeply love someone the time apart just makes the feeling grows stronger. 🙂

A while ago, I wrote a personal blog post about a girl who contacted me and she wanted to have pictures taken before her boyfriend got deployed. This girl is Catalina and here are the images of their photo session!!!

They absolutely rocked! At the beginning of the photo session I asked them to walk to the end of the road…they ran there and she was on high heels!!! They are so much fun! 🙂

Catalina, you are gorgeous!!!!

I opened a smile when I read Kristina’s email…she said she was 37 weeks into her pregnancy and she would like to do a maternity-couple photo session! In my mind I said “Oh yes!”. I knew it would be special…when the husband agrees to be part of it, it is always magical! And I think it is so important for the husband and wife to share this moment!

Kristina is the furthest along I’ve had the opportunity to photograph…wow, only 2 weeks left! When I suggested the place for the photo session I told her we would have to walk a little bit through the forest…and she said “no problem”! She is having an amazing pregnancy! When I get pregnant I hope I can be still super active like her! 🙂

We started the session in this GORGEOUS nursery that she decorated herself!  Everything is ready for Juna’s arrival! Here are some images of the day!

Changing table, dresses and green boxes – IKEA
Crib – she got it used on the local Ebay
Pacifier chain – online*geschenke*welt on Ebay
The wooden name letter on the wall – simplysawdust on Etsy.com, Kristina painted them and put the ribbon on it. She said you can get all that customized and already done from seral sellers on Etsy, just search from wooden letters.
The bird mobile, owl, squirrel cushion, round baskets, blankets and pillows she sewed herself! Kristina got inspiration from websites like this.
The dream sign she got at the Post Exchange (PX)

He was born in New York and she is from Las Vegas, they are both in the Air Force, they got married in Hawaii and before they got here in Germany, they were stationed in Korea. Wow!!!

They are expecting their first baby, a boy, and I think he is going to be a handsome little man! 🙂 Since both of them are city people, we decided to start the photo session downtown Landstuhl, this way they would have an urban feel in some of the images. And then we headed to this beautiful field nearby! We even got to use some rolls of hay as a background! Love it! 🙂

Here are a few images of the day!
